Pros

The supervisor who hired me was great. She didn't micromanage and was really flexible.

Cons

The pay is low compared to other online positions with same title. Raises not consistent.

Good company, tough client

Pros

Responsive managers who clearly communicate, with many materials available through an online training system

Cons

The district is challenging to work with. The specialist role was not clarified on the client end before the start of the contract, so there has been a mismatch of expectation compared to what Catapult advertised. For example, the client changed the job locations after Catapult posted the position; they are not the same number of sites or days per week, and the sites are further from home. There has also been a mismatch in understanding about the role of the specialist and how much autonomy they have to work with teachers.
