Pros

Supportive supervisors Competent coworkers Less stressful than classroom teaching Teaching Small groups Can choose your own hours/days if working part time

Cons

Low compensation for years of experience and being a certified teacher Have to stick to a specific scripted curriculum (this could also be a pro - don't have to make your own)

No Room For Growth

Pros

High pay, but the hours are not guaranteed.

Cons

There's no room for growth or advancement. You will be stuck in the same position for years, with no reliable hours.

Pros

Good pay for a teacher.

Cons

If you are a real teacher and you want to teach kids, you will have a horrible time here. The supervisors and management not only don't know a thing about teaching, but will actively do everything they can to prevent learning from taking place. It's essentially a legion of HR employees tasked with protecting the company by ensuring that the kids never learn enough to stop needing their services. I saw them fire the best teachers who actually cared about the kids' learning, then turn around and complain about being short-staffed, forcing the fired teacher's work on other, unqualified teachers. I know other people who worked for Catapult and were basically bullied by their supervisors, who cared only for nonsensical administrative rules and nothing for education.
