Pros

People oriented organisation Comparatively better bench-marked compensation and benefits package Most profiles have scope to work end-to-end on the type of job/role that they are in unlike many companies where operations are broken down into several tasks Good work-life balance

Cons

Sudden and drastic measures implemented to help steer organisation from consecutive years of losses Random and mindless re-organisation of employees into roles that are not on par with their competencies and all these done in the name of cost-consciousness

Pros

It is a good place to start your career and gives a good base for engineering as well as operations work experience for people who are interested in this industry.

Cons

The mining industry is going through a rough downturn and the business is bad. There are plant shutdowns very often and the work gets affecting with bad demand.
