      Sound company with a strong future, but can be a bit overbearing and conservative

      Pros

      Pay is good, and employees are gernerally well treated compared to similar companies. There are plenty of opportunities for a broad work experience with good lateral mobility. The company is being well run at the corporate level, there's a good strategy and clear direction for the future.

      Cons

      There's so much corporate control and inertia that it can be very frustrating to get the job done in any novel way. Red tape in general is overbearing. The emphasis is on averting risk, rather than encouraging enterprise. The company is very slow to adopt new practices, especially in HR areas.

      Pros

      Solid company -good share scheme and benefits. Pay good for the area (which is not London but it wouldn't let me create a new place in the UK!)

      Cons

      Working outside of Peoria you are 'excluded' from a lot of the decision making process. CAT IT is very centered around Building AD in Peoria. Technology developments are slow due to corporate approval processes.

      Pros

      Everything will be excellent.. Work life, Culture, Management, Salaries, Gifts, Appreciations, Promotions. You will never get a feel to change the company.

      Cons

      There is not much to say cons with this company. Unless, if you do not like the team indvudually. Else, everything willb excellent.
