- Lot of politics carried out by senior employees to suppress junior employees in their teams - Some managers are least bothered about the dirty politics existing in their sub teams. They behave more like supervisors/managers of service based companies. Thus, no efforts are done to maintain the integrity of teams in comparison to other fortune 100 product based companies. - Slow growth and minimal yearly hikes - No standards to measure monthly recognitions in some teams - Negligible on-site opportunities for female full time employees - All these reasons have led to high attrition rate among full time employees in Caterpillar recently.
