Pros
As an employee I fill valued for my opinion and what I say is not just disregarded. Since working at CMG I have seen some of my ideas come to fruition and that has been so rewarding. Knowing that I have the ability to improve the company is a great value to me. Upper management in my department have been awesome. There a lot of retirements which means a lot of potential promotion which is a plus. Great place to work with half days and extra holidays. Never knew I would enjoy half day fridays so much. Overall I definitely would recommend this company to anyone looking for a job.
Cons
In my opinion it is disadvantage in not letting employees work from home. Having a schedule of three days in the office and a day and a half at home would great increase the benefits of working there. Just because top management had a bad experience 20 years ago doesn't mean it will happpen again. In this culture it's very common for employees to work from home and employees know how to behave when doing so. It would allow more flexibility and would improve productivity. As if someone had to take a sick day and not work they could instead work from home and continue to work. Big mistake in my book not allowing that to happen. Hope in the future that can change. Other than that. Some of the senior management seem to be stuck in there ways but I haven't been there that long and hopefully that will change or is not the case. Also some systems seem to be outdated.
