Pros
Diverse group of projects, great benefits, management that listens to you and values your opinion, great overall company culture.
Cons
There are definitely some weeks with long hours, vacation time is industry standard
Pros
Cator Ruma is consistently staying on top of new technologies and offer great training for every level of employee. They are also very active in the local community and are continually looking to better the day-to-day environment by offering monthly perks and great benefits. Overall, great employees, great upper management and an awesome place to work.
Cons
Tough to manage project schedules at times.
Pros
Hybrid remote schedule after your first 90 days
Cons
Workloads can be overwhelming sometimes Some of upper management can be pretentious to employees without ever getting to know them on a personal basis
Pros
Good benefits and sometimes okay work atmosphere.
Cons
The management is misogynistic. They do not actually care about their employees, but they put on a nice façade. The workload is tremendous for the small amount they pay. Don't even ask about the owners..
Pros
I have worked here for almost a year, and have really enjoyed the people and atmosphere. Coming from a similar firm in the industry, I can attest that the hours and demand are not nearly as strenuous as what I have seen at other companies. People are always willing to help and work together. Management is very involved in the day to day operation of the company, and it is a true open door policy with everyone that works here no matter what level. I feel that people want to be here, and enjoy working together which is so important. I am looking forward to many years to come at Cator Ruma.
Cons
Not open to working remote.
Pros
Decent pay, The people are great to work with.
Cons
Need to work to become a favorite to one of the upper management to climb the ladder, YOUNG PM's, with not alot of experience
Pros
This company has a great reputation in the industry, has been in business for 60 years, and has a ton of repeat clients. As a result, there is a steady stream of a variety of different types of institutional projects that are available to employees. The work is always interesting, and one gets a lot of exposure to complex work, and you can really learn a lot and develop your career in a short time. On a more personal level, there is a lot of potential for personal growth at this firm. There is a great mentoring program in place, and management is approachable and responsive. As a medium sized company, there is a friendly, close-knit atmosphere.
Cons
The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9 hour days, with half-day Fridays. The Monday through Thursday long days can be tough to adjust to, but having extra time on Fridays is well worth it.
Pros
Friendly staff, flexible schedule, management is super easy to work with, monthly activities, work life balance, family atmosphere!
Cons
Nothing really bad to say, I have been working for a long time and this is by far one of the best jobs I have had. Some people create their own storms and then get upset when it rains...
