Pros

I have been here for almost 24 years. If you go to work and do your job there will be no issues whatsoever. I love helping customers find the perfect outfit or boots! I Love my Customers and my main purpose is to make sure the customer has an enjoyable experience and find the exact item they are looking for.

Cons

I have no cons myself. I do wish pay was not a factor for some employees. I have had employees who were hard workers and deserved more but also had employees who deserved minimum wage because that is what they were putting in it. The way I look at it is there are plenty of opportunities to make more with the different options offered during the year you just have to get busy and do it. I know there are different situations at different stores but for my store if you come to work and work making our customers feel happy and like you cared I will treat you with the utmost respect and go out of my way to do what I can for you.

Pros

-The opportunity to make some really great friends. -The assistant managers have been where you are, they get you, and were pretty laid back.

Cons

-There store manager is horrible and made questionable comments to female employees. He doesn't do anything but sit in his office and play around on his phone and only comes out to the sales floor to make an example of certain employees. During the summer and holidays, your availability is open season. Unless you have a good excuse he'll work you when he wants and how he wants, including one week over full time but the next two will be under 20 so that he doesn't have to give you benefits. -The turnover rate is insane. The first day you work is usually a straight eight hour shift of you folding jeans on the Wrangler wall, if you make it through the day without going to lunch and never returning then you'll get assigned a "department." -The whole store runs on favorites, if you buddy up to the store manager or the assistants you'll get your hour break at a decent time, if you don't you'll either have to go on lunch two hours into your eight hour shift or you'll get to leave with two hours left, if they don't forget you haven't eaten. -The pay will never be worth anything you put up with in this store. -Two words: Tent sale. -If you're a cashier you might, one day, see yourself as a sales associate, but don't count on it. This company isn't exactly full of opportunities.
