Pros

You get paid by commission and hourly. So if you're having a really slow day with no customers, you still have your hourly pay. The store is pretty busy all year long except for June, July, August (because it's summer) Overall the the job is pretty easy and laid back

Cons

Hourly pay is only $7.25 so even if the day is slow, it's not entirely convenient. You have to really push sales for your money. It can get really competitive and sometimes even ugly with co-workers

Pros

The people, the customers, the environment, the merchandise. Everything about this company is exceptional besides the pay and corporate decisions.

Cons

Not much room for growth unless you are in sales, the pay is ridiculous for how much money the company makes

Pros

You can make much more money during peak season (Christmas and rodeo), and there are some cash incentives for selling certain items. Tips can also be pretty generous if you learn how to shape hats.

Cons

4% commission is pretty low.
