Thank you for your feedback on Celerion. We appreciate your recognition of the great team that you work with in our Belfast Clinic. Our shift patterns are designed around the studies and early starts or night shifts are normal in this industry. Breaks are built into the schedule as well. Our salaries remain competitive with increases given after training is completed and there have been many internal promotions this year. We hope that you continue with your training so that you can move up to the next technical level soon and continue to develop your career at Celerion. Pros

As everyone previously states, employee comradery

Cons

There is a lack of science background/knowledge in regards to upper management decisions. Some managers with significant science background have left, hard to move within company with a decent pay bump, clear favoritism within most departments, management is blissfully unaware of what is happening in the labs.

Many thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback and your support for the time you were part of the department. I appreciate your thoughts on the lack of scientific background and knowledge with relation to upper management decisions. In July this year I was hired as the new Executive Director for Bioanalytical Services and I have more than 25 years’ direct experience in bioanalysis. I am taking a very proactive and committed involvement in all the activities within Bioanalytical working closely with all of the experience staff within the department. I do not know when you left our employment but I firmly believe that the particular challenges you have highlighted are certainly key area’s I hope that my management style and also direct bioanalytical experience and ability will quickly help to impact. A key priority for the departments senior leadership is engagement of the whole team and commitment to the departments success through retention and development of our team members and I hope that if you had any friends still working within the department you will be able to hear very positive signs to the new direction we are taking the department even in my first few short months. Tim Sangster – Executive Director Bioanalytical Sciences.
