Never Join in Celigo School....Worst place to work for....

Pros

No Pros to share. Such a worst work place.

Cons

01. They treat employees like school students. 02. We can see headstrong developers at Celigo. 03. They say flexible timings but at the end you work for almost 10-12 hours a day. 04. Deadlines are very very tight and you must reach them at any cost. 05. Expectations are always high. 06. Worst Culture. 07. No Work-Life Balance.

Pros

- Nothing, you should be smart enough to get a 100% hike when joining. - Salary revisions are generally done in single digits until you can "butter to impress" the top few people in India. PS: You get to know who these are in a few days after you join, due to the VIP treatment. Most of the good reviews here are redundant, written by the same people (as above).

Cons

No Job security. You could be fired without any notice any day any reason. The CEO has some funda " Only right people on the bus, on the right seats". Well, think before you promote people and then fire them. We have seen people being sacked in less than a month, So probably the executives do not know how to hire? In any case I advice against joining if you are looking at a safe & stable career. - Also no work life balance, be prepared to work until 12am irrespective of your role.

Pros

Company provides tea, coffee, water and toffee (limited quantity) free of cost.

Cons

There is no value of performance and your smart/hard work. US management is saying that this is no more family business, but Indian management made it completely family business. Employee should not expect any help from management in work, but management want every work to get completed before time. If you say estimate is of 2 days then there will be simple question that whynot in 2 hours and we want in 2 hours. If any issue comes in future then whatever effort you have given that will be considered as blunder. Buttering is at pick level (it is not one directional, even manager do buttering to engineer level and TL level employee). If you are getting good hike/salary then also start looking for another company because you are no more safe. Policy changes very frequently so you can also not believe on terms and conditions of your offer letter. Once the product development is completed then all credit will go to manager and director and you will feel cheated. Management will always invite you to give opinion on company work process, but if you open your mouth then start counting your last day in company.
