Pros

Nearly two years ago, I walked into Celigo for an interview. The pillars and walls were aesthetically decorated with images representing the core business of 'integration'. There was an air of friendliness, with crackles of laughter emanating from clusters of people working around. Behind a glassed wall, few others were engrossed in a game of table tennis. Along another wall, a colorful mini golf kit was lying idle. After a couple of discussions with the stakeholders of my position, I felt happy to be selected. Along the journey, I discovered the vast potential of the exciting space the company works in - cloud connectors. Within a few years of its inception, the company had already built a broad range of integrations between scores of popular SaaS systems: Salesforce, NetSuite, Magento, Amazon, eBay, Shopify, BigCommerce, Walmart, Zendesk, ADP, JIRA, JET and dozen others for the retail and hitech industries, including building productivity tools. Nearly a thousand customers stand testimony to the success of the products. Gartner recognized Celigo as a 'Niche' player in the cloud integration space. Empowering tech savvy users further, Celigo created a do-it-yourself integration platform, integrator.io. This year, Gartner elevated the ranking of Celigo as a ‘Visionary’ in the iPaaS business. Celigo now stands tall amid the giants of Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, IBM (in the same value quadrant). Amidst all activity, Celigo has succeeded in maintaining an entrepreneurial work culture of respecting individuality and rewarding talent. Celigo is poised to grow even more. Get on the Celigo plane at the next space station. The journey has just began and the sky is limitless.

Cons

You need to be self-motivated, self-regulated, self-directed, self-managed and self-satisfied.

Pros

You get to work with lots of newer technologies, and the products being built are all really cool. Management is really hands off regarding how you get stuff done, and people are given lots of personal freedoms to work whichever way works best for them. The people are friendly and helpful, and everyone is really hard working and genuinely devoted to the stuff they are building and supporting. Work life balance is encouraged, and most people are very family oriented. I've worked at companies in the past where there was a constant pressure to work late nights and weekends, and it is refreshing to be somewhere where people still work hard but value life outside the office too. Company is really stable financially, and even though it feels like a startup still they have actually been around for 10 years now.

Cons

Still lots of growing pains. It always seems like there is way too much to do in a short amount of time. Company is hiring of course but seems to be taking a long time to build out the teams.
