Pros

I absolutely love the flexibility of schedule. If I need time off, I swap around my schedule and make it happen. Unlike my previous employers (all retail management), with Cellular Sales, you absolutely get back what you put in. Hard work, dedication, and good people skills are the key to success! Take care of your customers needs and you WILL reap the benefits.

Cons

It is commission only, which is not for some people. I happen to love it though.

Thank you so much for your review! We appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback. We work hard to maintain the flexibility that many of our sales reps love, and you are right to mention that the focus on the customer's need is the most important. Thank you again.

Pros

There is nothing good I can say about the company.

Cons

I worked for the MD division of Cellular Sales. I was sucked in at a job fair in Baltimore MD. Let me start with false advertising and misrepresentation. I bought the pipe dream of set your own schedule and make loads of money in commission. They send you to a training in NJ that you have to arrange your own transportation to and from without compensation. This training can and should be done locally instead of wasting time and money on a training facility and trainer. The management uses illegal tactics to scare qualifying reps, such as threatening to fire them if they do not get a car. Check MD law, that is illegal. If the rep doesn't qualify in the first month the company withholds the commission, so the rep is essentially working for nearly nothing while everyone else makes commission. Management has no respect for the employees requested days off and autofills them where and when they choose. The qualifying rep is also at the mercy of the key holder, so if the key holder is late opening the store the rep is late too. I find it hard to believe that their computer system is so antiquated that they cannot correct the the arrival time for scheduling draft placement and payment purposes. The staff is low and people are quitting all the time and I can see why. Please beware when getting into business with Cellular Sales in MD!

Pros

You can work as much or as little as you want. Perfect for someone that is single. Fun work environment! you can make a ton of money at Cellular Sales.

Cons

The company is heading for a more corporate environment. Tons of pointless non paid trainings with no clear objectives. Inventory and cancelations come out of your check. $500 dollars came out of my check this month alone.
