      Pros

      Great work/life balance. Competitive salary. Awesome team / collaborative / agile environment. Overall, this is a great place to work. I enjoy coming in almost every day, and I find the work interesting and challenging. I have learned more in my time at this job than in any other two jobs I can think of.

      Cons

      None that I can think of. It's a great place to work.

      Pros

      With a new CEO and lots of positive initiatives underway, Cengage is poised for great things. New guy Michael Hanson has hit the ground running and we're hopeful that CL will again become the innovative game changer it should be. Smart, friendly people who want to make a difference -- that's what makes this company great. But if you're looking for a place to "hide" and not be challenged, this isn't the place for you. . . change is the only constant around here. Shift happens!

      Cons

      At times there's not alignment across all groups, which can make our jobs tougher.

      Pros

      As a company, Cengage provides employees with a lot of flexibility (work/life balance). They encourage charitable work. The people there are great to work with and incredibly dedicated.

      Cons

      The company is having a slow go of moving from being a traditional publishing company to a digital-first company. This has caused a lot of organizational growing pains that have gone on for some time.
