      * wide range of positions * interact with interesting people * promotion from within * flexible work week and hours * one of the few bay area publishers

      Positive career growth. Ability to work across departments and gain experience in a variety of areas. Relaxed, casual atmosphere; not stuffy.

      Cons

      Lost sight of customer in midst of taking company public (or in attempt to become acquired). Management sometimes unwilling to own up to product shortfalls).
