      No real complaints.

      Pros

      Managers generally trust their assistants so they let you work autonomously. Marketing in particular was very dynamic. I enjoyed working on a variety of projects. One day I'd be sitting in front of an excel sheet, the next I'd be planning and decorating a convention booth.

      Cons

      The company is going through a transitional period and some employees are unsure of their footing. My department underwent a reorganization after the sale that many were unhappy about. The location is also very difficult to access via public transportation.

      Good work/life balance....pay and opportunities to advance lacking

      Pros

      Offered good and flexible hours. Flexible with schedule. Good place to get feet wet in sales. Had good work/life balance. Company ahead of the curve compared against other publishing companies.

      Cons

      Pay was low for the position. Sales goals not defined until late in the year. Don't see much room for advancement. High turnover.

      Pros

      Laid back dress code and environment, friendly co-workers, good life/work balance, great benefits and perks, low stress for the most part.

      Cons

      Incompetent management (they all come from sales), very sales-driven, so it's difficult to advance without sales experience, low salaries (unless in sales), workload ebbs and flows, so you can either be extremely bored or too busy to breathe.
