      Inadequate pay; paid by the hour; overtime is prohibited but it’s difficult to perform all duties in 8 hours; immature management; micromanaging; retaliation when disagreeing with management; no room for growth; unorganized; not enough tools to do the job; not innovative; no option to telecommute; management not accessible for support; only get negative feedback from management; utilization managers have too many other jobs to perform other than utilization

      I thought this company (formally Health Net) would be a good place to work, boy was I wrong! I really wish I had listened to my gut instincts before I accepted this position. Working here was one of the worst experiences in my life. The work is hard, boring and not at all rewarding. Seriously, this job is very difficult and they are strict about everything you do! The training that I received was also terrible. In the four months I was employed at this office, I was bullied almost everyday and disrespected several times by my co-workers. Overall, the people here are rude and nasty if you have a question or need help, especially the leads and supervisors. I was seriously considering taking legal action due to all of the bullying, but I decided not to. I also think my salary should have been more considering the difficulty of the work and the expectations.

      Pros

      Work from home twice a week if productivity is above standard. Weekends and holidays off.

      Cons

      Managers are not transparent. Treat employees like kids. No support from management. Some of the managers are liars, will tell you one thing and the next day say they did not say that. Almost impossible to maintain productivity standards due to micromanaging and ridiculous tactics.
