do yourself a favor and accept another job
Pros
food in the cafeteria is pretty good
Cons
unrealistic expectations on deadlines and productivity (ie, a project that will take you 3 days, they want done in 3 hours). lack of communication from upper management. says they care about you as a person, but very little action to prove that. says they value the work life balance, but you’re expected to work 50+ hours under immense stress and you will probably regularly work past 7pm. a lot of changes should have been made 10 years ago when this company was 1/5 the size it is now, but they are just now getting around to them. if you’re an evp you probably love it because you walk on water and get paid a LOT, but everyone I know complains all the time. you will probably be taken advantage of as an employee because the entire company is severely understaffed (hence the 50+ hrs). unless you have the letters “vp” in your name, you will be underpaid for how hard you work. there are so many problems. some departments/areas are better than others, but overall I would not recommend working here.
