Their habit of buying up smaller companies multiple times a year and adding their employees to the userbase created an untenable IT environment where very little could get done without being in crisis mode all the time. Fine for those who can find opportunities in being a person who puts out fires, not great if you want stability and a place to grow. In multiple years there I was promised a vertical move but never received it because everybody was too busy to help me shadow, mentor me, or train me.
