Pros

"Dreams Come True" program allows you to pursue higher education.

Cons

Mismanagement of overhead expenses. Upper management demands more and more numbers while laying off essential workers to carry the workload. Client Services Managers play favoritism and reward bad behavior and retaliate when concerns are brought up about hostile work environment and people not working and abusing the remote position. Regional Directors know which CSCs work and which ones do not but management does not give them grace to select who should be on their team. Human Resources isn't even dialed in on complaints and when brought up, you are ignored and left on "read" via Microsoft Teams. Salaried employees do the bare minimum and have hourly workers work overtime but request it isn't logged in. (One of the issues I brought up when timestamps show people are working weekend hours just to catch up on workload and they were not compensated with overtime).

Pros

Good second income but not reliable. Great opportunity for students or those exploring the special education/behavior therapy field. I loved building rapport with clients and seeing the progress.

Cons

Severely unpredictable income as a BS. No reimbursement for materials you've purchased for sessions. Last minute cancels. You can ask your clinical team for materials, but it takes an extended period of time. Far travel times between home and sessions (traffic is not accounted for.) Limited in-person support. Many changes with the Recognize app.

Pros

Good training on ABA (but NO training on computer interface) good career advancement potential, co workers are cool but management sucks

Cons

Each branch operates separately from home office. You may get lucky or you may have an office run by a jerk. Be prepared to get no support or adequate preparation. Don’t ask for support or understanding because they do not have any compassion. Business structure and hierarchy is bizarre.
