Pros

Meet nice clients and feel inspired at first but that’s really it. No other pros.

Cons

Horrible training procedures, it does not prepare you even though they advertise this as a beginner job to start a new field. They don’t pay you for commuting to multiple places, they hardly train you, they don’t pay you much for their terrible 9-5 training, they don’t care about you even though they are desperate for you, they don’t really do anything if you’re being harassed by parents, they just want you to fill their schedules for money. They ask A LOT from you from the start, I literally had to pay some money to start this job and go above and beyond even though I quickly realized they wouldn’t do the same for me.

Working with kids on the spectrum is a blast

Cons

-company is stretched too thin, not enough quality trained management to support BSs in the field -company takes on too many clients without enough staff to give them the hours that they are entitled to via insurance -dubious billing practices -company more focused on making money than on quality of client care -CEO promises the moon and delivers nothing -people promoted to management are not trained on how to be managers -multiple lawsuits against company made by former employees

CSD has very comprehensive and thorough training. They also provide a lot of individualized help when taking the RBT exam.

Cons

They can be very unresponsive. I had completed my training and passed my exam but was waiting to be scheduled for three weeks after having reached out to them countless times. I ended up finding another job
