This company has fantastic potential for employees and patients, but the different departments and higher leadership are completely disconnected. There are many conflicting priorities, overwhelming all levels of the clinical staff. When questions are posed to leadership to try to clarify....well....ANYTHING...they either do not reply or there are multiple opposing answers from different people. I had a patient get hospitalized at least twice due to lack of follow through from leadership when I asked for clinical support/answers.
There are many staff surveys sent out, but the information is not utilized to improve process, therefore wasting everyone's time. The entirety of how the company treats staff, including providers, is quite disrespectful.
There is a significant lack of training of office staff, which leaves providers unsupported at the clinical level in addition to the lack of support from leadership. No triage skills, no accountability for individual job responsibilities, etc.
There are plenty of accolades about the strong social support offered to patients, but it is lacking in reality. Mostly, the team just forwards forms to providers to fill out; or does not reach out to patients when orders are placed; or cancels orders after not being able to reach patients for a few days. It isn't their fault; they try hard, but the department is severely understaffed for the demands placed on them.
The organization is not honest about panel size and work load; the only semblance of work life balance is having a four day work week. They base metrics on inaccurate data and often use shaming tactics to try to "motivate" staff to meet goals.
Don't get me started on the outsourced HR company for benefits. My benefits repeatedly get dropped and there is no one who can actually solve the issue and prevent it from happening again. So it does....again and again.
I do not recommend this company to anyone until Centerwell does some soul searching and figure out what their mission and priorities are.
