Pros

Good temporary job purely for the fact you can make quick money. Terrible career choice though.

Cons

The bad outweights the good. No benefits, 401k is a joke, managment cares nothing for employee retention. Everyone starts out part time, meaning you have no set schedule and will get called at all hours of day or night.

Great money, decent over time. Great place to network if you are on the hunt for another job within the government.

Cons

Micromanagement, long hrs of standing outside in the rain, sleet, snow, heat and anything else mother nature can come up with.
