Pros

I enjoy working at Centier because I feel invested in as an employee. I am treated as more than just a number to the company. I am given opportunities to grow and learn. Their central focus is providing great customer service and helping clients financially, which is very fulfilling.

Cons

Centier is an Indiana only bank, so depending on your position, you might not be able to move out of state if you wanted to stay with the company. The company is based in the Northwest Indiana region therefore majority of the training is held up there, which can be a long drive for people based in their more southern markets.

One of the best banks to work for in the U.S, and one of best companies to work for in Indiana. Strong culture of servant heart leadership.

Cons

Still some dinosaurs in C-suite positions that don't fully get data science principles or the potential value.

When I had a new idea that needed to get approval, I was invited to share my findings during a senior management meeting and I was wow'd by how supportive and understanding they were of the needs I was presenting to them.
