      Pros

      Most of the long time employees are lovely people and Very knowledgeable. Loosely defined roles So you will have the chance to wear a lot of hats, so to speak. Great opportunities for advancement.

      Cons

      Heavy Russian/Eastern European presence makes breaking into the culture difficult. Many older chemists don’t trust or listen to their younger colleagues. Very bad communication practices at this company.

      Pros

      People work hard because they are afraid of management. The original founders are still there and are very approachable and open to discussion. There is a recreational green space across the street. They try to keep up with Silicon Valley by providing free coffee and tea.

      Cons

      On my first day, I was told, "drink the Kool-Aid and you'll be fine." People are unhappy but afraid to leave. Extremely toxic environment where brown-nosing is the fast track to promotion. Job transitions between Danaher operating companies is encouraged and supported on the surface, but in reality, it is impossible to apply independent from management.
