      Pros

      At Cepheid you can feel that everyone is true to the mission and culture. Everyone is polite, open and friendly. The work that I do is unique and has high level visibility to the company so it is meaningful. I have had many conversations about my role and career goals with my manager and manager +1 to understand if I am engaged and happy with my role. I like my job and I like how understanding my team is. They recognize good workers and reward them. The president does hold all hands meetings that include overall company updates.

      Cons

      No cafeteria but there are on sight snack areas. Not alot of company sponsored events.

      Pros

      The company is growing very fast, there are lots of process gaps and opportunities to shape your own career.

      Cons

      Because of the same reasons in the pros section, you could end up stuck with a lot of menial work for a long time because developing process for a growing company is difficult and takes time. Danaher is stingy on hiring more resources. THE BIGGEST ISSUE IS: Director level and above leaders are not qualified for their jobs. They only focus on communicating upwards and measuring metrics. Big disconnect between those who do the work and those who drive the work. Not enough people to do the job and just a lot of people up above applying pressure downwards, not providing support, training, removing road blocks. Leaders don't prioritize. Everything is urgent. Unrealistic deadlines and then corporate speeches to try and motivate us to work towards the same unrealistic deadlines.
