A "ship" with great products but not leadership and deteriorating values and culture.

Pros
Great colleagues, that's probably the best. Some folks try to please customers and be successful (= make money) as a result of satisfied customers. But the current culture does not really support this. The products are great and many customers rely on Certara to continue to provide the tools that they need, so financially the company is stable - so the management says.
Cons
Notoriously understaffed for the work that needs to be done. As a result, most people, including management are busy fighting fires and have never the time to think ahead. Combine this with lack of leadership and you find that no corporate values have nearly vanished. Little chance of learning and applying leading edge technologies in software development.
