      Pros

      People working with you are great and you will learn to work in a team environment

      Cons

      Not all people working there will give 100% and others will have to pick up their slack. Also, the training is poor and needs to be improved for both new and current employees.

      Pros

      Health insurance, paid leave and other benefits are very generous compared industry norms. Management communicates with employees very well, not an overly secretive company. Company does give plenty of flexibility for people to do their job well, without too much micromanaging. Annual bonuses and generous 401k match.

      Cons

      Much of the company spending is focused on high level executives and IT. Lack of growth opportunities for lower-level workers. People tend to stay in their same jobs for years and years. Training is a bit disorganized for new workers. Pay tends to be below the average market point.

      Pros

      Cetera offered fair pay and good benefits befitting a large company, however the teams I worked with were positive and relaxed, with a more tight knit small company feel. They were very supportive of team member development and overall I felt very welcome within the company.

      Cons

      The two positions I held at Cetera relied heavily on institutional knowledge. Job aids and workflows were often scattered, difficult to find, or dated. Many solutions or best practices required finding the correct senior team member that knew how to complete specific tasks. Cetera was also adhering to a more strict RTO policy, with a weird 2 + 1 rotating Friday in office schedule.
