Pros

Market rate for pay. Decent benefits with an above average PTO allowance (20 days at any level). Some nice people.

Cons

Where do I start. I'll save my energy talking about RCAP as there are already enough reviews that cover that. Morale was low when I left and those I stay in contact with, say it has sunk even lower. Turnover was extremely high when I left and I hear it has gotten worse...Any remotely talented/hard working person has employment options today and no one wants to join a just out of bankruptcy ship that continues to sink. There is next to no communication from the overwhelming white, male leadership team. Overall, I'd avoid it. The lack of investment since the ING days have caught up and its an industry that will continue to shrink with technology advancements.

Pros

Decent PTO program. Makes an effort to be inclusive. Employee communications improved. IT can be helpful when called on the phone.

Cons

Non existant culture. Branding is unsophisicated and has no continuity. HR Exec leads with fear and doesn't care about employee reviews or sites like this. Demeaning layoffs every six months while still hiring for jobs. Requiring people back in the office who are unhappy and overworked.

Pros

Co-workers generally help each other; you get paid.

Cons

Operations is a crap shoot, financial advisors frustrated constantly and understandably so, my former co workers said they felt guilty about taking time to use the bathroom. Almost the only time you hear from a manager is if you are out of phone cue for over 20 seconds or an advisor complains.
