Pros

Historically quality products, formerly a great place to work with strong ethical values.

Cons

New CEO & friends care only for their personal success ( clique), not the long term success if the company. Qualified new hires leave in about one year. Products now made in China without innovative patents, rush to market is the new "trend."

Pros

Management turnover has facilitated higher salaries in the past couple of years. Elmhurst is a nice place to work in the West suburbs.

Cons

Senior leadership gave up on training current employees on "The Newell Way" in 2013, and decided to populate its senior ranks with former Newell employees. It's too bad, because the Newell model proved to be a failure in the last decade, and Chamberlain is now deploying it badly.
