Pros
Very well financed company that makes millions on a needle in a haystack product. Garage Door Openers are a simple concept and but through solid marketing and outstanding engineering they have been able to maintain 40 margin points in an industry that averages 10-20%. Company does a great job of equipping employees with resources, tools, etc. There was always plenty of cash.
Cons
New "Rubbermaid" culture is all glitz and no substance. Saying '5S' and 'Lean' will not develop products. Be prepared to travel to Mexico...a lot. Careful when navigating the Matrix organization...unless you're Neo Significant turnover since 2010
