Pros
A culture for driven people, must be able to try.. measure...fail....repeat without losing enthusiasm. In full disclosure, I am a leader on the sales and marketing side of the company (director +) and have entertained other job offers in recent months. I wanted to see what life is like outside after 5+ years at the company. What i found is that all companies are going through challenging times, but none that i've talked to have transcended above the external challenges (supply chain, inflation, etc) and still pressed forward with key growth initiatives like Chamberlain has. It's hard out there, but i would rather stay with a company that lives "hard" daily and isn't deterred off course by external forces. We are transparent with customers about the transformational journey and their loyalty is steadfast as they also want business growth of their own flavor.
The Blackstone acquisition hasn't changed our culture one bit. I've read reviews about our current CEO being ego driven. We are trying to do hard stuff here, which takes intensity and a winning spirit. Bill Belichik, Steve Jobs, Larry Ellison are not compared to Mother Theresa very often, because they were trying to inspire an organization to change fast and forward every day. In spite of the driving spirit, he's actually very authentic in his care for the Chamberlain people from what I have experienced.
We are looking for educated, gritty, folks who don't give up easy. If you are reading this as an employee looking at Glass Door for entertainment purposes or are an external candidate thinking about coming to work for us, just know one thing. We win, and our leadership has your back. Try new things and to BRING YOUR DATA DRIVEN OPINION TO WORK WITH YOU.
I'm sticking around because Chamberlain has the right balance of comradery and drive to win.
Cons
We are changing, fast, and it makes people uncomfortable that want to coast. The people turnover since covid hit has made role responsibility hard to clarify. Looks like it's getting significantly better in the last 2 months.
