Do not care for faculty

Business Outlook

Pros

Benefits are good, Flex Time off

Cons

Very top heavy organization. Do not promote faculty. Faculty load is unreasonable, you will work 60 hours a week, very condescding national management that’s out of touch with what daily life is like on campus. Only tell you what you do wrong… constantly.

Toxic Environment

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Student interaction and fellow educators

Cons

Toxic environment with leadership that bullies and engages in retaliatory behaviors when members of the leadership team have differing opinions or express concerns regarding current policies. Expected to be available 24/7 “leadership does not set limits on their hours or days worked “ is the refrain. Often contacted on days off and expected to reply. Upper leadership belittles staff during open meetings. Definitely not a place for innovative thinking.

No future

Pros

Most teams offer flex work options and remote functions.

Cons

Pay is on bottom of average and there are practically no chances for advancement. The university is run by general thinking MBAs with no vision on how highest learning should function to benefit students and employees. If you just want a paycheck and no future or acknowledgement of your value, apply here
