Pros

chance to make good money if you're a good sales person located in a good market, good benefits

Cons

your neck is always on the line to beat the previous months sales performance no matter what is happening with the company or with the economy. Management rules, tries to motivate with constant threats. Favoritism was a constant problem with management

Pros

Management has always been in good communication with me, my career goals are important to my manager, the pay is above average, and opportunities for growth within the company are there. Also, Chase is a very strong and stable company.

Cons

Day-to-day activities can become monotonous (as with any job), and at such a large company it can take a long time to get simple things done (overseas support-desks, out-of-state underwriting, etc.)

Pros

It is a large multinational corporation with great name recognition. The company supports sales with plenty of advertising and marketing.

Cons

After taking over Washington Mutual Chase almost immediately reduced our commissions by 60%. The company fosters a very competitive environment between it's sales people with everyone afraid for their job.
