Pros

Cushty if that's what you are interested in. Bank acts as a gravy train for Gen X directors to send their kids to private school.

Cons

EDs and MDs absolutely high on their own supply. Directionless with no long-term strategy. Structures not in place to allow decision making. Too many amateurs. Weighed down by pointless bureacracy, teams that have no purpose, tick box mentality, unable to take off under its own weight. Lots of cosplaying at being a bank, but is in no way a serious player and would not survive without suckling at the JPM teet. Toxic management, unable to tolerate challenge.

Pros

People and managers are nice. Can be a tad hectic at times but fun too. I was a chef before and they took me on. I am greatful to them for that. Stayed for over 2 years.

Cons

can be on late shift which might not suite everyone. sometimes finished after 10:30pm. customers can be aggressive.
