Pros

Chase provides good training for their employees. The base pay is decent compared to many other banks. I had some good managers over the years, but there are good people everywhere. It was nice to have more young men come into the branch over my years there. Chase avoided the sub prime mortgage scandel nicely.

Cons

Selling credit cards is corny. The lack of power of loan decision is frustrating. Having to take a thumb print from a customer is dehumanizing. The PVC comepensation program and the base salaries are geared for large urban cities. It is impossible to get Chase to pay for grad school.

Pros

Name recognition. Products that compete with the best. Chase in my opinion is way ahead of the bell curve when it comes to information technology. In this world of gizmo's and gadgets, it's awesome to work for a company that understands that, from the employees chair all the way around the desk to the customers chair. That's the way it should be.

Cons

As a banker, only 2 weeks off per year (Until year 5 or 6). Have to use 1 week at a time, opposed to breaking it up. Extra "float" days off can be used randomly, but only ONE three-day weekend PER YEAR!
