      Pros

      I had GREAT direct colleagues. The product I supported was ( and still is) one I absolutely believe in. It is easy to understand, lightfooted and completely accessible

      Cons

      Well, it's the US. They don't like you - for whatever reason ( I still don't know mine), they will make up a story of bad performance, or incorrect behaviour (Mainly theirs) and you are out on the street. "Here's a ridiculously small bag of money, there's the door."

      Great people, good vision, best security in the market

      Cons

      Annual review from direct management up through VP is legit and I’m thankful for each of them. The success criteria from some anonymous entity in corporate is fictional. They completely skipped our last review cycle because they “weren't ready” and for this review cycle we were assessed on things that we were (a) never told about, (b) beyond our control, and (c) don’t correlate to reality. Yet they claim they can’t change it. They created it, they own the process. Correcting it is within their ability.

      Check Point is an amazing employee. People are willing to help you. The products are industry leading.

      Cons

      They have a hard time believing the base level payment that a person in the pre-sales role receives. Many people leave as targets are unachievable.
