Pros
Our management structure on the sales engineering side is really good to work for. Pay is mostly competitive in Boston. Benefits are good, especially 4 weeks accrued PTO. We actually get to use it as well. Sales counterparts are good overall and cooperative. Decent amount of opportunity to move around different positions and specialties within the sales org in addition to other positions in different departments.
Cons
R&D drives the decisions and the direction, which sometimes is hard to understand and challenging to explain those decisions to customers of why we did/did not include features in our products. Getting R&D support can be challenging in the US at times due to time zones.
