-Company is rife with fraudulent activity, particularly in mobile advertising, and its global reputation is as a result scorched earth -- People in your industry will refuse to engage with you -Culture built on upper management constantly making ill-informed decisions on how to move forward and not consulting any employees or external advisors -Bread & butter products (Android utility apps) are plummeting in userbase due to increasingly sophisticated hardware aka a suite of increasingly useless products. Company is grabbing at straws to stay relevant by pumping tons of money into an equally-doomed and far from profitable livestreaming application, LiveMe. - Upper management possesses no ability to empower their employees -Global "offices" are almost entirely superficial outposts intended to convey to the world that the company is truly worldwide, when in fact they are the laughing stock of the industry in foreign markets -Getting even the most trivial thing approved involves days of waiting for sign-offs by potentially several individuals in upper management who are in China. This delays you from doing the job you were hired to do and is incredibly frustrating. -Most business is conducted in large chatrooms on WeChat, and therefore everything gets lost in the shuffle. No task management platform implemented, therefore leaving everyone confused as to the status of anything. -No universal software systems used to manage clients, contracts, finances, etc. Therefore requiring you to learn internal systems that are very poorly built and riddled with technical issues. -A culture of greed and unhealthy competition is rampant in sales orgs -- every man for themselves, hiding, lack of transparency. -Any criticism of the company is immediately denied and swept under the rug without considerate acknowledgement.
