Pros

Nothing. Work in the chemical plant environment. Good experiences and continue to learn everyday. Good troubleshooting skills being developed on daily basic.

Cons

Long hours with no compensation. Depends on what organization you are working for, it could be a very hostile environment. Leadership are useless and have no vision whatsoever. A lot of backstabbing and discriminating. Bad safety environment. Fume release alarm, fire alarm and medical alarms go off at least 3-4 times a month.

Pros

Autonomy, decent salary and benefits, some good locations

Cons

No raises last two years, cut bonuses and 401K contributions. Mgmt keeps adding on additonal "programs" to its employees to try to cut costs and improve morale, which in actuality have the opposite effect.
