Pros

Decent pay, benefits are competitive with other chemical companies, some opportunities with training are starting to become more available for employees

Cons

There have been significant improvements in the financial situation of the company. This was a result of cost savings effots across the company. Examples include layoffs, reduction in plant maintenance activities, consolidation of roles, plant closures, etc. This will not be sustainable, especially if safety principles instituted by DuPont continue to be erroded.

Too much DuPont legacy

Pros

Winning products and market position (business portfolio). Investing in new plants and technology. CEO is very pragmatic. Allows mobile professionals.

Cons

Too many in leadership stuck in the old DuPont ways. Too rigid in trying to force people to do business the old DuPont way. Unwilling to change. Substandard employee development program for other than a “select” few. Employees spread too thin.

Pros

They know how to make money above all.

Cons

Chemours prioritized capitalism over their environmental responsibility by contaminating Southeastern North Carolina's water supply with GenX.
