Pros

Some good systems in place. People are knowledgeable and dedicated to their work.

Cons

Plant is held back by legacy methods and systems - nobody is willing to change how they do things because "this is how we've always done it, and it's worked so far." Business leadership is extremely tight with money which means that software and systems become out of date, training is limited and insufficient, and staffing levels are too low to be sustainable.

Pros

Small chemical plant, union, bonus, high starting off pay, top out can be in 2 years

Cons

Union, hardly overtime, no one wants to retire so no room for new employees.

Pros

Some nice and helpful people, good mentors

Cons

If you can’t handle loud, sensory overwhelming environments, don’t even try to stick it out in the chemicals production environment.
