A small company feel for a big company

Pros

The company has a small company feel (methods, teams, etc) but has the benefits of a large company (HR, Benefits, etc.) Many of the folks on the team are hard working and dedicated to the projects and missions; they make the work not only enjoyable but worthwhile. The mission of Cherokee Nation Businesses is much more altruistic than other corporate contracting organizations - meaning the profits made are actually being put to good use and not just buying more boats for executives.

Pros

Cherokee Federal is a great place to work with a great mission. It provides services to the federal government and gives back to the Cherokee Nation through programs and services that support Cherokee citizens.

Cons

Lots of work to be done and not enough hours in the day, but that is a great thing in my opinion.

There are no pros, most unprofessional company EVER!!!!!!

Cherokee hired many agencies to hire a mass of employees to not be hold accountable. No break room\lunch room, no where to place food , for parking you have to walk like 10 minutes, no accessible microwave for food , there is no reasonable accommodations for breaks , Cherokee is not respecting ting the schedule that was on offer letter . I quit a good paying job to be part of this program because I was offered full time 40 hours and Monday -Friday schedule and I’m only being schedule 3 days and if I want my 40 hours I need to work weekends . I have another weekend job and it should be a problem because I was promised mon-Friday , they promote people based on favoritism and they don’t open the positions at all .they hire a lot of people that are 18 to take care of 17 year olds . They also hired a lot of people without any experience nor education
