Pros

Good benefits and PTO, most federal holidays observed.

Cons

Management is really poor, social services can't seem to keep employees and don't address anything to try and lower the turnover rate. High caseloads and poor supervision as assistant director supervisors, and regular employees leave the county for better opportunities and pay. County seems to blame the turnover on employees saying the job is hard instead of looking at what is wrong internally or see what surrounding counties offer and try to get on a even level. Also as far as I can tell there isn't an annual increase in pay.
