Pros

Good salary, retirement, insurance. Interesting work, and always the opportunity to work overtime for extra money. Good law enforcement community.

Cons

Mandatory overtime, shift work, supervisors have free reign and no oversight. Staffing levels are terrible due to the attitude issues from coworkers, supervision, and management. No shift differential for midnights.

Pros

Consultant to Chesterfield County Schools, reasonably flexible hours/weekly schedule, eight weeks off in the summer, supportive supervisors.

Cons

Am a ten month employee so pay is based on that ten months. Difficult to supplement pay during the summer months. Multiple school assignment, heavy workload at start of school.
