Pros
Director and Assistant Director have been in your shoes and know exactly what you are doing/what’s being asked of you. Supervisors (especially mine) are hands on and very supportive. Flexible and focused on self-care; they get it, the work is not easy. Team and solution-focused. Benefits (as a single person) are amazing. Annual merit increase.
Cons
Constant changes, it’s just the nature of the game. Career Development Plan is the only way to move to another level in your career unless applying for a new position.
