Great Global Collaboration, but Local Leadership & Culture Need Improvement
Pros
Exceptional Global Team: Working with the global team is a highlight. They are genuinely supportive, encouraging, and engaging. Valued & Heard: Global stakeholders truly listen to feedback, appreciate hard work, and make you feel valued. Strong Collaboration Culture: The global environment allows plenty of time for meaningful collaboration and teamwork across regions.
Cons
Poor Local Leadership: The local leadership team in India lacks strong management skills and offers minimal support to employees. Rigid Shift & Hour Policies: There is a complete lack of flexibility regarding working hours, shifts, and mandatory work-from-office requirements—even when your primary alignment is with global teams working in different time zones. Contractor-like Treatment: Local managers tend to treat full-time employees like contractors, micromanaging and making irrelevant comparisons to unrelated teams. Stagnant Career Growth: There is very little prospective for career advancement or professional development under the current local leadership setup.
