Pros

Unfortunately, I cannot highlight any true pros from my experience

Cons

Low pay for most employees; only lead and manager positions offer decent salaries. There is total favoritism and constant micromanagement. Managers do not value employees’ time or work, and they lack proper training on how to treat staff, being arrogant. Mistakes are often made by managers, but the blame is pushed onto subordinates. At CPLC, it’s not about what you know but who you know; they hire friends of managers regardless of experience or education. I would not recommend working at CPLC unless you are in urgent need of income and only plan to stay short-term.

Pros

Working for a non-profit organization helps you feel you are helping your community. Been involved in building partnerships and helping clients improve their financial situation

Cons

Minimal supervision, It works for me, but you have to be willing to work on your own. Even though you are not micromanaged, you are expected to be fully knowledgeable of company policies and procedures.

Yes, not being micromanaged is a big part of CPLC culture. Helps one be empowered. We have updated Policies & Procedures on the ADP homepage now to allow easier access to them. Thank you for your review!
