Pros

Free coffee and tea is available most times. Centrally located and near Chase bank and Grand Central plus museums. Fair insurance coverage.

Cons

Frequent turnover and burn out. Lower level staff treated as commodities. Very elite staff with emphasis on sound bytes and marketing rather than nonprofit work or serving others.

Pros

This place makes a good first impression - nice offices, smart and dedicated staff, and it looks great on a resume. It's best as an internship or temporary position. People on staff less than a year seem happy.

Cons

Elitism and bullying are part of the management culture. High employee stress levels and low morale lead to high turnover rates. Promotions are rare. Employees are expected to check and answer email at all times. Compensation doesn't match management's demands.
