Pros

Really flexible, as much time off as you need, opportunity to work in lots of new locations

Cons

Promised me a raise, never gave it to me. You will get spam called unexpectedly on days you marked yourself unavailable. If you don't respond to a job within 3 hours, you lose points, even if you're not available that day. Effectively, you're expected to be available for phone calls anywhere from 6am to 8pm everyday, even if the phone calls are pointless (ie confirming you know an upcoming assignment was cancelled). I was once called 6 times within 1 hour, during my baptism (which I was off for), because they had been trying to make sure I knew my assignment in a week was cancelled as of that morning. You are also paid less than what you'd make in the same position at any of the daycares you work at, making you an underpaid and glorified daycare worker.

Pros

Weekly pay, per diem and you can approve or deny which schools to work at. Great place to work to gain experience.

Cons

Assisting the main teacher which means they will expect you to be the one who cleans up after lunch, changes the diapers, cleaning at the end of the day sanitizing toys and working under stressful conditions with kids.

Pros

Flexible schedule. Higher pay then most sites

Cons

Placement coordinators treat subs like crap just like the sites that your place that they treat you like second class citizens they never believe their employees and I will tell you eight out of 10 the client is lying on the sub because they’re upset that we get paid more than they do and they are trying to get out of paying the fee
